Mariana Branquinho da Fonseca is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry in Portugal and Co-Manager for the Lisbon office.
With 30 years of professional experience, 24 of which as Talent Management consultant, she has an extensive experience in Executive Search.
She is part of the firm's financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, media and information technology markets and focuses on the coordination and execution of board, chief executive and senior level assignments across different sectors. She has also developed leadership advisory projects including talent management and assessment of senior executives, among others. Mariana has been advising executives, from a wide array of industries and cultures, to help them tackle personal challenges and development issues in their careers.
Mariana was part of the team that embraced the challenge of launching one of the big 5 executive search firms in the Portuguese market, acting as Partner in Charge of the Portuguese operation in the last 5 years.
During her career, Mariana had the opportunity to work with the majority of companies listed in the Portuguese Stock Exchange Market, a large number of multinational companies and international investors with operations in Portugal, as well as with a large number of Portuguese privately held companies.
Prior to starting her experience in Executive Search and Talent Management in September 1997, Mariana lived 2 years in the United States, where she worked for a small Consulting office in Los Angeles, specialized in finance and legal advisory. She previously worked for Procter & Gamble in Portugal as controller, having started her career in Price Waterhouse working as an auditor.
She is fluent in Portuguese and English, with working knowledge of Spanish.
Mariana holds a business administration degree with special emphasis on finance from the Catholic University of Lisbon and the Advanced Management Program from Catholic Univ. / Kellogg's School of Management. Certified Coach – level 2 from Escola Europeia de Coaching.
